Our Wonderful Facility

  • Each group is small, with 4 to 12 children, so the children may spread out.

  • Each classroom has its own sink, refrigerator, and microwave, so the children can eat in their own rooms.

  • We spend a lot of time outdoors on our huge playground.

What the School Can Do

  • Keep the groups small.

  • Cultivate substitute teachers who work only at our school and a limited number of other schools.

  • Provide hand sanitizer and touchless trash cans.

  • Change the HVAC filters regularly.

  • Clean cloth toys often.

  • Clean water play and sensory tables often.

What the Teachers Can Do

  • If you have symptoms of a contagious disease, stay home.

  • Take the children outside as often as possible.

  • Avoid eating with other classes.

  • Avoid activities that require blowing with straws, balloons, blow dryers, etc.

  • Wear gloves when touching food and drink, when helping in the bathroom, and when cleaning.

What Your Family Can Do

  • If your child has symptoms of a contagious disease, keep him or her home.

  • Prepare sippy cups or water bottles in advance; don't have us pour.

  • Pack food & drink that your child can open & close independently.

  • Leave diapers, pull-ups, wipes, and cream at school.

  • Leave a change of clothing at school.

  • Label all of the above with your child's full name.

  • Do not bring pacifiers to school.

  • If your child has allergies or a medical condition, send the office an email about it and turn in the appropriate forms.
